How do I know if my car needs an oil change?
You should get your oil changed every 6 months or every 5,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you notice your engine oil is low, your oil is dirty, or if your check engine light is on, it's time for an oil change.
What should I do if my brakes are making a strange noise?
If your brakes are making a grinding or squeaking noise, it's time to get them checked. Bring your car in and we'll inspect your brakes to determine the issue.
How important is Tire Rotation Schedule?
It is recommended rotating your tires every 5000 miles. Follow this Regular tire rotation schedule.
Why is the TPMS light still on?
if you've added air to your tires and verified their inflation levels with a tire pressure gauge, there are 3 possible reasons for the TPMS, light to stay on.
- your TPMS needs resetting
- your TPMS needs service, likely if the light is blinking.
- a slow tire leak: Likely if the TPMS light is steady after adding air.
What are emissions-related repairs?
Emissions-related repairs correct problems contributing to a vehicle's failure to pass a Smog Check inspection.
Do you offer towing services?
No, we do not offer towing services. However, we can recommend a trusted local towing company if you need assistance.
When do I need to replace my belts and hoses?
Every three to four years, or immediately if you see any cracks in them. Best to check every Spring and Fall as temperature extremes can shorten the life of belts and hoses.
Are the parts and services under warranty?
Most auto repairs are covered by a warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles, Some repairs and or parts may have longer warranties.
What makes a car not worth fixing?
If you can't repair your vehicle to basic safety standards or if it might compromise your safety.
Why is my check engine light on?
It could be a number of things, from small to large. If it flashes, we recommend not driving your car. if it comes on steadily or comes and goes, we recommend you bring your vehicle in immediately.
